Role: Ensure kitchens and food beverage areas are clean and organized. Responsible for ware washing, including pots and pans in restaurant outlets and banquet facilities. Maintain safety and sanitation standards in accordance with the policies of the Health Department. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3-month experience preferable in a high-volume operation in hotel and casino environment.
- Knowledge of SDS book and chemical usage.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
- SNHD Health Card
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Clean, sanitize and organize kitchens in all Food and Beverage areas including freezers and walk-ins.
- Daily use of cleaning equipment as well as proper chemical usage.
- Exercises proper use of dish-machines no limited to check temperature and cleanliness routine in daily basis.
- Break down, clean and store all dishes following correct procedures.
- Wash rinse and sanitize pots and pans according procedure in 3 compartment sinks.
- Distribute silver, glass and China to designate areas, as well as other utensils and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors based on business demand.
- Monitor and empty trash cans as needed in all kitchens.
- Provide banquet staff with equipment, requisitions needs and service support
- Work in conjunction with the culinary team, helping in plated up and other activities related with banquet functions.
