Role: Prompt and courteous delivery of all Room Service orders, maintain positive Room Service image through all areas of guest contact and through cleanliness of guest areas. According to the J W Marriott and department standards, perform job responsibilities satisfactorily. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.
QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:
- Valid Clark County Health card
- Valid Las Vegas Alcohol Awareness card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching
- Exposure to cleaning substances
- Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Set up orders and deliver to rooms, using a motorized vehicle as required.
- Correctly use the Point of Sales equipment and follow procedures.
- Complete all daily and weekly-assigned side work.
- Check corridors and retrieve trays when returning from taking orders.
- Clean and breakdown trays in dish area.
- Each Associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
