What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Bike Officer position at J W Marriott?
Outside bike patrol of the buildings and grounds of the casino and related areas. Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure. Responsible for maintaining order in all areas of the facility. Apprehends persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts. Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred. Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire, health, and security hazards to the Security Shift Supervisor. Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of Company property. Reports to Security Control (podium) in case of fire, presence of unauthorized persons, or other notable situations. Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of equipment or machinery. Performs other job related duties as required by the Security Shift Supervisor; and to perform job responsibilities satisfactorily and to according to department standards. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations.
