Role: Be able to perform warehouse functions: receive, pull orders, deliver to outlets, stock and rotate shelves. Responsible for securing goods from off-loading to reached outlets. Spot check perishable food items and other items received, reviewing quality, dates and proper rotation. Requires some ordering for assigned work areas. Extensive use of computers. Use of heavy equipment. Involved in inventory of stored product. Adhere to all Company, Safety, Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATAIONS:
- 1 year previous shipping/receiving experience
- Working knowledge of computers basic programs
- Customer Service
- Be able to read, speak, and write English.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Clark County Health Card and Nevada DMV
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Receive and sort all incoming deliveries to the property
- Reconcile invoices and requisitions daily
- Order and receive into property software
- Organize and update all warehouse locations as needed
- Clean and maintain all warehouse rooms and dock area
- Rotate stock based on FIFO
- Secure receiving, warehouse and their contents daily
- Adhere to company policy
- Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management
