Position Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of field operations within the assigned area, including safety and regulatory compliance, staffing, employee development and operating expenses. Other duties include but are not limited to, enforcing Company standards and procedures, ensuring overall operational efficiencies, customer service, oversight of the quality of service provided, and capacity planning.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of field operations within the assigned area, including safety and regulatory compliance, staffing, employee development and operating expenses. Other duties include but are not limited to, enforcing Company standards and procedures, ensuring overall operational efficiencies, customer service, oversight of the quality of service provided, and capacity planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: may include any or all of the following.
- Coordinate the activities of all Technicians assigned to the area, including supervising and monitoring their work / job assignments.
- Efficiently organize Technician assignments to minimize driving time and response time.
- Train Technicians in technical/service competencies as well as the processing of all required documentation and assist with major repair decisions.
- Reduce unplanned service call frequency, reduce rental fleet/vehicle maintenance expenses, review field service reports, and complete field inspection reports.
- Review and submit local purchases for approval, monitor warehouse/service vehicle inventories, and assist with investigating, documenting and resolving misapplications of equipment.
- Participate in start-ups and monitor requirements for actual vs. quoted conditions, unit placement, and the use of proper suction, discharge and vent lines.
- Ensure that the appropriate environmental/safety accommodations and precautions are implemented and followed in start-ups.
- Communicate regularly with the Area Supervisor on the status of Area personnel, staffing levels, productivity, revenue/margins and any developments regarding service issues or customer concerns.
- Respond to customer requests and address customer needs proactively while representing the Company in a professional manner at all times; develop and maintain internal as well as external customer relationships.
- Encourage, develop, and ensure a safe work environment.
- Advanced knowledge of machines and tools, materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of compression units.
- Proven ability to interact with people, clear fluent expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service skills, industry specific product/services knowledge, and be able to deal with customers tactfully and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent and positive customer service image, frequently under difficult conditions.
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, and coordinate workload.
- Hands-on lead by example, highly motivated and passionate work/leadership style, with team building experience; able to motivate and empower others.
- Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; keep commitments; complete tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 7 years of industry related experience with 3 years in a Lead/Senior Technician role or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Associate’s Degree or the equivalent level of college credits towards a Bachelor’s Degree or extensive vocational training, preferred.
- Adequate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications.

- Valid Driver’s License.
- Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Directly as well as indirectly manages employees in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
