Job description
We are seeking a Project Coordinator with a background as a mechanical or civil engineer to provide support for various construction projects at the Power Plants in Bedford and Ghent. The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring contractor safety compliance, monitoring quality of work, and facilitating effective coordination with stakeholders. This project is expect to run 2 or 3 years.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the oversight of contractor safety compliance and ensure adherence to OSHA safety policies.
- Monitor and evaluate contractor performance, focusing on quality and adherence to construction specifications.
- Serve as a liaison between contractors and project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project progression.
- Spend significant time in the field supervising contractor activities and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure proper execution of tasks.
- Provide updates and recommendations to stakeholders based on field observations.
