As a Project Manager, you’ll implement the project directives under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, Associate, or Principal and will focus on design, planning, and documentation tasks that contribute to the overall project. From large-scale residential developments to mixed-use commercial complexes and educational facilities, our diverse portfolio allows for accelerated learning and provides a well-rounded experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development of design and technical documents through all phases of projects.
Prepare, plan, and develop project design elements including, but not limited to:
Rezoning & Entitlement Applications, Preliminary Plans, and Site & Subdivision Plans
Open and closed storm drainage systems including stormwater management
Water and Sanitary Sewer system design
Compliance with zoning ordinances, proffers, and applicable facility standards
Erosion and sediment control plans and design E&S control measures in accordance with state criteria
Perform QA/QC of own work and the work of team members.
Utilize working knowledge of VDOT, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures.
Design and create technical documents in AutoCAD using Carlson Design Software.
Advance and lead planning studies, preliminary and final design plan production, and project permitting.
Train and mentor new and junior level staff members.
Remain current with Local, State, and Federal design standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in all phases of services in planning, design, and management.
A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Exemplary teamwork, interpersonal, and project management skills
