Art Director/Designer – J2 Marketing
J2 Marketing is looking for an experienced and innovative Art Director to lead our creative department and elevate the quality of our branding and design work. This role requires a strong foundation in graphic design, branding, layout, and print management, combined with the ability to provide strategic and creative direction across various projects. The Art Director will work closely with clients, internal teams, and contractors to develop compelling visual solutions that align with our clients' goals and J2's creative standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative vision for branding and design projects, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Oversee and contribute to graphic design projects, including branding, layout design, digital and print assets, and marketing materials.
- Provide creative leadership and mentorship to designers and contractors, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Manage the development of brand identities, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Oversee print and production processes, ensuring high-quality output and efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (studio, web, marketing) to align creative direction with business objectives.
- Work directly with clients to understand their needs, present creative concepts, and guide them through the design process.
- Keep up with design trends, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve J2’s creative output.
- Manage multiple projects, balancing deadlines and creative expectations effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in Graphic design, branding, and creative leadership.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, layout, and print design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Experience with print production and management, ensuring high-quality output.
- Ability to guide, mentor, and inspire designers and creative professionals.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and justify creative decisions to clients and internal teams.
- Experience working within a marketing or agency environment is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of digital marketing and web design principles.
- Experience with motion graphics, illustration, or UI/UX design.
- Understanding of brand strategy and storytelling.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
