Why this job – STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
This position is open due to growth, and it will handle heavy journal entries and require a lot of detailed orientation. Someone more junior in accounting, with a solid understanding of debits and credits, will do well! This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow in the world of accounting.
What You'll Actually Do:
- Journal entries, reconciliations, and all things GL
- Partner with senior staff accountant on additional GL responsibilities
- Assist with (and eventually run) month-end
- Ad hoc accounting projects
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- 1 years of staff accounting experience (an internship is okay too)
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Great communication and client relations experience
- Excellent critical-thinking skills
- An AA or BA in Accounting or Finance highly prefered
Where and How Much:
- Target pay rate: $68K - $72K/yr based on experience
- Hybrid schedule – 2 Days IN-OFFICE, Broomfield, CO
