Why this job – BAS/Controls Installer Technician:
A Montana-based construction firm is looking for a BAS/Controls Installer Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on field role based in the Gallatin Valley, with occasional travel to other areas in Montana. You’ll work with a skilled team installing Building Automation Systems (BAS) and low-voltage control systems on commercial projects.

What You’ll Actually Do:
• Install and wire BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices
• Terminate and test low-voltage cabling
• Read and follow control drawings and wiring diagrams
• Coordinate with team leads, project managers, and other trades on-site
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient job site
• Assist with system commissioning and start-up as needed
• Participate in ongoing training to build your knowledge of systems and products
• Support accurate documentation of installation progress and changes
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
• 1–5 years of experience with BAS/Controls or low-voltage systems
• Ability to bend and install conduit up to 1” in diameter
• Familiarity with DDC systems and platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Delta)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team
• Valid driver’s license; OSHA 10/30 preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus

• Target Pay: Up To $50/hr DOE
