Why this job – CONTRACT TO HIRE STAFF ACCOUNTANT :
This sustainable manufacturer needs help to cover while a key member is out on leave. The best part is there is need, once they return, to stay on in a permanent staff accountant role. This position will handle heavy journal entries and require a lot of detail orientation. Someone more junior in accounting, with a solid understanding of debits and credits will do well! This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow in the world of accounting.
What You'll Actually Do :
Journal entries, reconciliations and all things GL
Partner with senior staff accountant on additional GL responsibilities
Assist with month-end
Ad hoc accounting projects
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need :
1 years of staff accounting / GL experience
Understanding of debits and credits
Great communication and client relations experience
Independent and driven to take the initiative
Where and How Much :
Target pay rate : $28 - $32 / hr while contracting; up to $70K once permanent
Hybrid schedule – 2 Days IN-OFFICE, Broomfield, CO
Ability to start ASAP (meaning Monday!)
Ability to commit to at least 4 months with the strong desire to become permanent
