Our client is looking for an entry-level Staff Accountant to support our Rocky Mountain Division based in Denver, CO or Colorado Springs, CO! (This role can be based in Commerce City, CO or Colorado Springs, CO).
This role is a developmental position leading to a career as a Controller for the company within 3 years. Controllers on our team are involved in every aspect of the business without having to stay in a cubicle all day! This is the perfect role for someone who wants to see the true impact of their work while also getting exposure to many growth paths for themselves.
This opportunity is with a large, publicly-traded solid waste services company that provides non-hazardous waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets in the U.S. and Canada.
Outside of typical accounting duties, this role is also involved in Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and more. Working with the other departments might include riding along with drivers and our sales team, or getting familiar with our billing system by sitting with a Customer Service Representative. You are the business partner for your District Managers and key in the strategy decisions made daily.
