Overview
We are seeking to fill a dental assistant position at our family practice, JA Dental Care. As a key member of our clinical staff, the successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the dental healthcare team.
Dental Assisting experience is preferred, BUT not required.
Newcomers are encouraged to apply! We are willing to train the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient exams, including taking dental X-rays and providing aseptic techniques to ensure the highest level of patient care..
- Familiarize yourself with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Open Dental and ensure that all patient data is accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of dental assisting best practices and aseptic technique.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Open Dental - Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Current certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered with the state.
