Description
At JA Frate with over 50 years in the transportation industry we pride ourselves on our on-time delivery and customer satisfaction and our amazing team that makes that happen every day!
We are currently looking for a full-time Dock Worker Monday through Friday from 8:00pm to 4:00am to load and unload trailers at our terminal location in Elk Grove Village. Some overtime may occasionally be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload freight from trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Prepare, inspect, and clean trailers before loading freight.
- Review freight bills for special instructions and inspect freight for damage.
- Complete all tasks in a safe and timely manner and follow all safety protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum 1 year forklift experience, certified preferred.
- Ability to push/pull/lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Work overtime as required.
- Must be able to pass Fitness for Duty physical and drug screen.
Salary : $19 - $21
