Job Description
The Lead Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving workshop processes, investigating and resolving on-site abnormalities, standardizing operational procedures, and assisting in training new employees. The role is integral to achieving key performance indicators and ensuring operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Process Inspection :
- Supervise the flow, methods, and system implementation of production processes.
- Assist production lines in achieving KPIs, including A rate, repair rate, output targets, fragmentation rate, and PL.
Abnormality Troubleshooting :
Analyze and resolve issues affecting the achievement of assessment indicators.Perform statistical analysis of process data and provide timely feedback on anomalies.Implement corrective measures to address abnormalities.Training :
Train employees on SOPs, technical (TECN) procedures, new product documentation, and process optimization.Supervise production line operations and ensure compliance with training objectives.Implementation Effectiveness :
Oversee the execution of on-site improvement measures and verify their impact.Ensure assigned tasks are completed effectively and on time.MES Setting :
Participate in and coordinate the system setup and inspections within the production environment.Execute order-related requirements, including MES inspections, order setups, and preparations.Take ownership of execution, supervision, and coordination responsibilities.Innovation :
Propose and implement innovative solutions to address production abnormalities.Continuously optimize processes and improve production line efficiency.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Physics, Optical Information, Semiconductors, or a related field.Intermediate Engineer certification or higher is preferred. Additional relevant certifications are an advantage.Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
In-depth knowledge of process improvement, technological innovation, and new technology implementation.Strong leadership skills with the ability to independently lead teams and resolve technical challenges.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Office software, especially PowerPoint.Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Working Conditions :
Ability to work extended hours, including after hours, weekends, or holidays, as needed.Continuous exposure to extreme heat, cold, and noise.Required to wear protective equipment at all times while on-site.Physical Requirements :
Prolonged standing, walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.Regularly required to talk and hear to ensure safety and clear communication.EEO / AA Statement :
