Translator - Interpreter

岗位职责

Job Duties

• Responsible for providing comprehensive translation services during the onsite work, training, and business meetings of Chinese expats at Michigan factory, ensuring smooth communication;
  
  

负责中方外派人员在密歇根州拉晶工厂工作、培训、商务会议期间的全程翻译工作，确保沟通顺畅无阻；

• Responsible for translating project-related documents, including but not limited to technical documents, contracts, reports, etc., to ensure accurate transmission;
  
  

负责翻译项目相关文件，包括但不限于技术文档、合同、报告等，确保信息的准确传递；

• Assist in addressing the translation needs of Chinese expats during their stay in the United States for daily activities such as medical treatment, shopping, transportation,etc.
  
  

协助解决中方人员在美期间遇到的生活翻译需求，如就医、购物、交通等；

• Assist in promoting cultural understanding and cooperation between Chinese and American team, fostering a harmonious work environment.

任职要求

Requirements

• Possess excellent Oral and written English translation skills, with priority given to candidates holding an English TEM-8 certificate or equivalent;
  
  

具备优秀的口头和书面英语翻译能力，有英语专业八级或同等水平证书者优先；

• At least 1 Year of experience in Chinese-English Translation, preferably with a background in industry, manufacturing, or semiconductor materials;
  
  

至少1年以上中英文翻译工作经验，有工业、制造业、半导体材料领域翻译背景者尤佳；

• Hold a valid US work visa or possess legal status in the United States.

工作安排

Schedule Details

This role is being staffed with a start date in May.

Training Period:

Monday to Friday, for 4-6 weeks, working 40 hours per week.

Post-Training Schedule:

After training, the work schedule will be Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of working up to 60 hours per week.
