Job Summary :
The Warehouse Operator position involves handling raw materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely distribution of solar components. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities :
Receive, inspect, and store raw materials used in solar panel production.
Pick, pack, and prepare solar components for internal production and external shipments.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated inventory systems.
Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to support a smooth production workflow.
Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of fragile solar components.
Follow all workplace safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
Basic understanding of inventory management systems and supply chain processes.
Ability to lift and move materials up to [insert weight limit].
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
Knowledge of handling and storing electronic components or fragile materials.

Excellent time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize
Working conditions :
Works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
May be required to work after hours and on weekends or holidays
Physical requirements :
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
