During the Summer months, typically June-August, help maintain the grounds of JAARS commercial and residential property. Become part of the JAARS team so we can reduce barriers, ease burdens, and deliver God’s Word. This position involves working outdoors and assisting with maintaining beautiful lawns and flowerbeds.
Responsibilities
- Use lawn care equipment, including commercial zero turn mowers, string trimmers, and edgers.
- Use and sharpen hand tools, including loppers, shears, shovels, and rakes.
- Edge various areas around campus, prune shrubs and trees.
- Spray with herbicides and insecticides, fertilize lawns.
- Shovel out ditches, culverts.
- Make minor repairs on equipment.
- Assist with other department needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Preferred one year of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related experience.
- Preferred prior experience in groundskeeping equipment experience including lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with good standing of driving record.
- A deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growth.

- Must be able to work in the US.
