Position Summary
The Partnership Development Specialist equips, trains, and supports staff in raising and maintaining financial partnerships to fulfill their mission assignments. This role focuses on providing personalized coaching, accountability, and resources to help staff succeed in their partnership development efforts. The coach conducts training sessions, fosters encouragement, and ensures alignment with organizational standards. Additionally, the role involves monitoring staff progress, and creating a supportive community for fundraising success.
Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
Provide one-on-one coaching to individuals raising financial support.
Help individuals craft personalized strategies for effective relationship building and donor engagement.Offer encouragement and guidance throughout the support-raising process, addressing challenges and celebrating successes.Training & DevelopmentLead training sessions on topics such as fundraising best practices, communication, and donor relationship management.
Provide access to resources like books, workshops, and online courses tailored to partnership development.Accountability & Goal SettingUse Partnership Pulse to support staff in staying focused and accountable, ensuring they meet their partnership development goals.
Conduct regular check-ins to assess progress, provide feedback, and adjust strategies as needed.Track and report on individual and team progress toward partnership development goals.Resource CoordinationDevelop and share tools and templates for donor communications, budgeting, and presentations.
Maintain access to and distribute organizational resources, such as promotional materials, display items, and digital assets.Encouragement & Team BuildingParticipate in community-building opportunities for individuals to share ideas, challenges, and successes.
Foster a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages mutual encouragement and growth.Host prayer times or team gatherings to provide spiritual encouragement and connection.Position Requirements
Qualifications :Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or partnership development, preferably within a faith-based or nonprofit organization.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and encourage others.Highly organized with excellent time management and administrative skills.Deep understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of the organization.Ability to analyze challenges and offer creative, practical solutions.A deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal spiritual growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growthEmbrace the vision, mission, and core values of JAARS
