A JAB Recruitment client is seeking a Administrative Assistant for a 6 month or longer contract position.
** Please note, this is a contract role and does not qualify for PTO.
This contract is projected to be a long-term contract 6 months to 1 year or more.
PLEASE NOTE:
- NO C2C
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely without present or future need for visa sponsorship.
- On-site 5 days a week, 40 hours per week
- Typical business hours, 8am - 5pm
- Some overtime at 1.5x pay will be required.
- Job location: Houston, Texas - Greenway Plaza

The Administrative Assistant will support the Director of Construction and the Director of Quality within a large midstream oil and gas organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of documents and spreadsheets
- Create and maintain data sets within Microsoft Excel
- Will assist in documenting and tracking cost, hours, and time within prepared templates
- Detailed data entry
- Calendar management, expenses and travel arrangements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma completed, Associates degree preferred
- 5 years of Administrative Assistant experience supporting a Manager or Director
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Technically savvy
Preferred Candidate Qualities:
- Self-starter, motivated
- Professional demeanor
- Deadline driven and responsible
- Prior experience with construction projects and construction materials would be a bonus, but not required.
- Prior project coordination experience strongly desired
