Job Overview

Part of the HR Operations Team, the Analyst will provide our business partners with Human Resources, and key strategic stakeholders, data and reports using tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence, and Oracle Fusion Data. This position will play a critical role in providing meaningful information to drive business operations and objectives, as well as enable the success of the company's investment in Oracle reporting and analytics solutions. This role will capture detailed requirements, translating them into meaningful reports for the end user by ensuring that the data is relevant, timely and effectively satisfies the business need. It will also focus on continuous improvement of our analytics and reporting capability, assisting the HRIS Senior Analyst as needed in delivering against our commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as subject matter expert on Oracle reporting and analytics tools including Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
  • Facilitates meetings with business partners and the HRLT to capture requirements, determine reporting goals, and understand the business issue to be solved; design, develop, and build reports that share insights and provide answers for the business issues identified.
  • Performs validation and analysis of report data to ensure accuracy.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation of processes, reports, applications, and procedures.
  • Builds credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs.
  • Acts as a technical point of contact and conducts user acceptance testing of reports.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of data governance and/or data standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Database query skills (SQL/PLSQL)
  • Understanding of Oracle data lineage, and Oracle reporting and analytics tools

Skills & Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst; preferably with experience in Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Skilled with Reporting and Analytics tools used in Oracle HCM Fusion(BIP, SQL, and other Oracle reporting tools)
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM Fusion, specifically Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Talent Management, and Recruiting modules
  • Experience with backend databases including Oracle
  • Ability to leverage data visualization platforms such as Power BI to assure meaningful reporting formatting
  • Previous experience with PeopleSoft query manager
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills
  • Understanding of HR data and HR employee lifecycle processes (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Benefits and Compensation, etc.)
  • Previous experience with Oil and Gas enterprises; midstream ideal
  • Understanding complex problems and collaborating to explore alternative solutions
  • Acting as a self-starter. Working independently to identify, design and implement internal process improvement, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing for greater scalability
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to tailor communications depending on the audience
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to identify system needs and implement solutions.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR data and processes to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Develop and generate reports for HR metrics, analyzing trends and providing insights.
  • Assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff on HRIS functionalities.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure proper system architecture and integration with other platforms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends related to cloud security and system hardening.

Skills

  • Proficiency in system administration with a focus on HRIS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security practices to protect sensitive employee data.
  • Familiarity with Meraki for network management within the HRIS context.
  • Experience in computer management and system architecture principles.
  • Ability to vaticinate potential challenges in HRIS operations and propose solutions.
  • Knowledge of VMWare for virtualized environments related to HR systems.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs for integrating various systems within the organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for data accuracy.

Please note:

  • This is a contract position - initial 6-month contract term with the option to extend another 6 months.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely without present or future sponsorship required.

Pay: $47.00 - $49.00 per hour
