Job Summary

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Under general supervision, responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of equipment utilized in manufacturing operations to fulfil customer requirements while adhering to safety, quality, validation, compliance and customer requirements.

As a skilled specialist, completes tasks using creative and effective approaches. Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Jabil, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Works with Engineering and Operations to troubleshoot and resolve problems while maintaining compliance of the process and equipment.
- Follow Preventive Maintenance Instructions and perform Preventive Maintenance on area equipment according to schedules to maintain equipment per specifications.
- Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
- Troubleshoot and conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
- Maintain maintenance records for each piece of equipment responsible for.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- Provides information and coordinates action plans at cross-functional meetings and communicates issues with team members and/or visitors to drive corrective actions.
- Individual must be able to work overtime as required, must be able to respond to conflicting deadlines, changing priorities, and continuous interruptions.
- Assists in area organization 5S attributes.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other assigned duties as needed
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Understand the requirements of working in a validated environment that produces medical components.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Must be able to effectively communicate with technical support services.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Use of basic and special purpose hand tools.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and practices for the State of New Mexico.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and the general public.

- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Understanding of safety practices requirements.
- Personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word and PowerPoint and e-mail). Use of specialized maintenance tracking programs.
- 3 years of industrial maintenance and/or troubleshooting experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude. Prior plumbing experience and/or training.
