How will you make an impact?
As an Inventory Control Group Lead, you will oversee daily inventory operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining optimal performance within the inventory control process.
What will you do?
Inventory Control & Accuracy :
Ensure accurate record-keeping for shipping, receiving, and stockroom documentation.
Verify aging materials in receiving and shipping locations, ensuring inventory accuracy.
Eliminate errors that impact quality, budget, and efficiency.
Process Improvement & Efficiency :
Drive continuous improvement in material processing time and overall performance.
Recommend recovery methods such as overtime when necessary.
Ensure all materials are stocked promptly and accurately to support production demands.
Leadership & Collaboration :
Provide feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments regarding schedules, documentation, and personnel.
Interface with departmental supervisors, engineering, program management, and other teams to ensure seamless operations.
Identify team performance strengths and areas for improvement, reporting to Inventory Control supervisors.
Workplace Organization & Compliance :
Ensure all tools, equipment, and visual aids are in proper working order and up to date.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
Comply with company security policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
How will you get here?
Education and Experience :
Relevant experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations.
Prior leadership experience preferred.
