The Maintenance and Repair Professional will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilities' equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair facilities equipment, including HVAC units, fire protection systems, and building controls.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to equipment malfunctions and system failures.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree in a technical field such as refrigeration or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is desired.
- 2-4 years of experience in a facilities-related role or equivalent education, experience, and/or training.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees at all levels.
