What are the responsibilities and job description for the FFA Sponsor position at Jac-Cen-Del Community School Corporation?
Requirements:
- Background check and DCCS must be completed and come back clear (wait to complete upon hire)
Stipend: $400 stipend paid in May for 1/2 year - Each subsequent year will be $800
Club Sponsor Responsibilities:
- FFA is the largest student organization in the world that is co-curricular. Therefore, requirements for FFA vary depending the needs of the students.
- All of these events need to be planned and organized. Lots of practices each week, mostly at 7 am. One monthly meeting held at 6 pm, and new career development events for those students that would like to try something new.
- The greenhouse must be cared for every weekend, and over each break. This includes taking care of the plants, fish, and chickens.
