RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct all maintenance employees assigned to the facility and/or Business Unit.
- Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance procedures.
- Manage the professional development of maintenance employees (skilled trades program).
- Oversee procurement and receipt of replacement parts for facility projects.
- Track and manage key maintenance metrics (e.g., PMs completed, downtime, work orders, time to repair) and implement strategies for improvement.
- Proficient with manual, electric, and pneumatic tools and shop equipment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the ability to learn AS400, Lotus Notes, and Mapics.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Mechanically inclined with problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in reading hydraulic, electrical blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
- 4-year technical degree, Journey Worker Certification, or 15 years of equivalent job-related experience.
- 3-7 years of experience in hydraulics or electrical maintenance.
- 3-7 years of supervisory/project management experience in a manufacturing setting.
