Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team. At our restaurant, we prepare fresh ingredients daily in order to provide the best customer experience. Preparation takes place throughout the day, so everyone plays an equal part in making high quality food. As a line cook, you will be responsible for cooking meals and ensuring that your station is clean and full. Training on all of our equipment will take place to ensure that safety and cleanliness standards are upheld. Doing on the spot interviews
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Utilize culinary skills to enhance presentation and flavor of dishes, ensuring high standards are met.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
