Area Manager
Reports to: District or Regional Manager Department: Field - Retail
Grade/Level: Advanced Job Status: Full-time
Hourly/Salary: Salary FLSA Status: Exempt
Work Schedule: M – F; 8am – 5pm; may be required to work outside of the 8am – 5pm work schedule to meet company/customer needs.

Essential Functions
• Assists in identifying new business opportunities
• Ability to understand and interpret financial statements related to the operation of a specific unit or
group and shows the ability to perform cost-benefit analyses
• Display an understanding of business implications and decisions
• Explain water & well analysis to Account Managers and help develop the customer service regiment
that treats their unique oil and gas well problems
• Take responsibility of subordinates’ activities, trains and develops their skills, and encourages growth
• Interviews and hires employees to support customer needs
• Display the ability to prioritize and plan work activities. Plan for additional resources, set goals and
objectives
• Enforces company policies and procedures, and provides disciplinary action as warranted
• Manages and develops plans for the efficient use of equipment, materials and personnel
• Express ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form. Exhibit excellent listening skills
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 5 years previous experience, with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in
oilfield operations
• Knowledge of oilfield operations and equipment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Knowledge and experience in the well-servicing or related oil and gas
environment

• Computer Skills: Have strong computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online
instructions, type and use a mouse.
• Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer
needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere
desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions.
Show a commitment to doing the best job possible.
• Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55 gallon drums,
weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.
Work Environment
Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee could be faced with working in extreme temperatures. Employee must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S Monitor as required or needed.
