Position Summary
Oversee inventory movement daily, including monitoring what is taken out and returned on delivery trucks. Supervise a small team of gate guards. Support delivery drivers and inventory staff with inventory control operations. Complete monthly outdoor physical inventory counts. Assist with administrative inventory analysis and reporting.

Essential Functions
- Manage chemical and product inventory accuracy on incoming and outgoing delivery trucks.
- Supervise gate guard staff to support and ensure delivery accuracy.
- Maintain excellent communication with all levels of plant and delivery employees and management.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to inventory deliveries and accuracy.
- Prepare paperwork required for trucking and manufacturing as needed.
- Perform monthly physical inventory counts outside for several hours in various weather conditions.
- Specific attendance is required on the last day of every month to conduct inventory counts. Preferably no absences on these days, particularly at quarter ends (March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st).
- Be precise, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations while performing assigned duties.
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to assist coworkers and employees with duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of data analysis is preferred. High attention to detail is required.
- The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines and business needs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Skills & Abilities
- Computer Skills: Have advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, emphasizing Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Work Environment
80% of time in a chemical manufacturing environment inside and outside of metal buildings. Employee could work in temperature extremes. Must be able to work in an environment with chemical odors.
20% of time in a controlled atmosphere within an office setting arranged in a warehouse and laboratory environment.
