What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Associate position at JACAM CATALYST CAREERS?
Process manufacturing customer and retail warehouse orders. Serve as a bridge between customers, the plant/production, and Carriers. Complete and process shipping documents for all plant orders. Complete invoicing for intercompany orders (MFG to Retail) timely and accurately. Provide AR with the necessary back-up for invoicing customer orders. Keep up with fast-paced work environment while working as a team player. Provide custom customer and position specific reports as required. Communicate with customers courteously and promptly about any questions they have regarding orders. Must be able to meet deadlines as assigned. May also be assigned to assist with plant or warehouse inventory counts and transaction review.
- Accurately review and process chemical orders.
- Relay necessary information between customers, plant/production, and carriers in a timely manner; communicate effectively with employees, management, and customers.
- Process revisions and additions in an efficiently.
- Prepare all necessary shipping documents in an accurate and compliant manner.
- Efficiently process all delivery paperwork after shipment to facilitate timely invoicing.
- Express ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form. Exhibit excellent listening skills.
- Provide excellent customer service skills with customers and/or field office personnel.
- Be able to work well independently and in a team atmosphere.
- Be precise, detail-oriented, and organized while processing multiple activities.
- Assist with plant and warehouse inventory counts and transaction review as needed.
