Key Responsibilities
· Design, generate, and characterize CAR T or other constructs for genetically modified T cells.
· Implement existing strategies for highly multiplexed cloning, using either pooled cloning or arrayed cloning approaches

· Independently design and lead pre-clinical in vivo studies, including downstream analysis.
· Collect, analyze, and present scientific data in the form of presentations and reports to research and management teams, with proposed next steps.
· Provide conceptual input on experimental design and supervise junior team members.
· Coordinate research efforts with other scientific teams in highly cross-functional projects.
Qualifications / skills

· The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in immunology, including a deep understanding of either regulatory T cells (Tregs) or the design of engineered T cell therapies (e.g. CAR-Treg, CAR-T, TCR-T, or others)
· PhD in Immunology, Cancer Biology or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of industry or academic experience working in immunology and in vivo oncology or pharmacology.
· Understanding of the current state of CAR-T cell therapy and challenges within the field. Knowledge of various animal models to analyze the efficacy and safety of CAR-T cell therapy.
· Exceptional laboratory and analytical skills, with demonstrated proficiency in the development and execution of experiments related to CAR-T cells biology.
· A record of publication in immunology, gene therapy, or molecular biology along with good writing and presentation skills are required.
· Work in a team and matrix environment as well as contribute individually to meet project timelines and deliverables.
