Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves engaging with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families to ensure the well-being of their children while providing high-quality care.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development.
- Provide nurturing care for infants and young children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Educate children on basic life skills through play and structured activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Observe and document children's behavior and development milestones.
Experience
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or childcare is preferred.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques for children with disabilities is a plus.
- A background in classroom settings or educational environments is advantageous.
