Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and fostering strong customer relationships. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and floor sales, as you will be responsible for managing accounts, analyzing customer needs, and negotiating deals. Some skill in sales, righting hard sales slips coupled with customer service skills as well as some moving lifting and physical labor backroad or experience is a plus and required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions
• Use catalogs, computer, and kiosk to look up and inform customers of pricing on sales floor
• Assist customers with information of furniture and answer any and all questions or concerns a customer may have.
• Calculate and properly wright sales slips for customers purchasing items
• Assist customers with loading and unloading purchased furniture into and out of vehicles
• Moving, rearranging and cleaning sales as well as assisting in unloading product and setting up on the sales floor
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using software tools and a basic understanding of square to complete sales transaction.

Qualifications

• Some experience in sales or business development, preferably in a technical, high paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
• Experience with customer service to some degree.
• Familiarity with square or computer technology with assistance from other associates in order to fide proper pricing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels. Ability to work as a team or closely with the owner or other management to perfume tasks in the workplace.
• Basic communication skills reading/righting
• Some ability to lift, move and carry furniture over 20 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 33 per week
