Our Business Process Modernization team consists of seventeen associates and contract employees that are highly skilled and collaborative professionals who thrive in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Our North Star is delivering impactful automation and process mining solutions to internal customers that increase efficiency and enhance the associate experience by allowing them to do more challenging and meaningful work.
We are seeking someone who has a passion for helping the team through administration of the tools used in automation, assisting with systems integration for both automation and data, becoming a contributing team member for the evaluation of moving more functionality to the public cloud, and exploring potential usage of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI).
There will also be opportunities to meet and collaborate with the business units that are our customers. Through these interactions, the candidate will have the opportunity to understand the requirements and goals or the business, as well as exposure to corporate protocol and communication best practices.
Program Details
Duration: June 2 - August 8, 2025
Location: Charlotte, Dallas, Louisville or remote.
Pay: $25.00/hour
What you’ll be responsible for:
* Researching potential use-cases for AI implementation
* Help review potential projects to determine infrastructure requirements
* Working with developers and internal customers to setup and maintain infrastructure for automation.
* Assist in the administration and maintenance of existing automation environments
What you’ll need to have:
* Enrolled at an accredited university.
* Pursuing a Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Management.
* Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025).
* Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry.
What would be nice for you to have:
* Academic or working experience with networks, databases, or api connections.
* A basic understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Sharepoint, File Shares, service accounts, or Process Mining.
* A basic understanding of Process Improvement methodologies (Toyota Kata, etc).
* A passion and excitement for cross-collaboration and group work.
* Exposure to UIPath, Automation Anywhere, OpCon, Celonis, Microsoft O365 including Power Automate, and any network administration experience.
