Key Responsibilities
Do you think you are a leader that can help others? The Jack in the Box Team Leader is a person who has an infectious “Can Do” attitude and can also show people how to get it done. The Team Leader is tasked with various responsibilities including:
• Training Team Members and providing continued support and guidance
• Ensuring that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training are followed
and completed in a timely manner
• Creating a friendly, engaging, and safe work environment
• Supervising and participating in restaurant and kitchen cleaning duties
• Performing various financial activities, such as cash handling, deposit preparation, and balance cash receipts
• Insuring food preparation and quality meets all standards and requirements a
• Understanding the cause and resolving customer complaints about service, food, and various other restaurant
functions
These are some of the duties you will use to role model these for the team you will lead, along with the Restaurant Manager. If you have the drive and desire to learn effective leadership techniques, we believe you can shine as a Team Leader at Jack in the Box!
If you are 18 years of age or older, can speak, read, and write in English, and have excellent interpersonal skills, we’d love to meet you. You will also need proven analytical skills and the ability to perform basic math functions. Patience with teaching and the ability to work with a diverse group of people is a must. There are also physical requirements that you must be able to perform such as: Standing for 90% to 95% of your shift, constant walking to different parts of the restaurant, ability to reach, stoop, bend, and squat with extra weight. You will also need to be flexible with your hours as Jack in The Box is a 24/7 restaurant.
