Are you an accounting professional residing on Oahu and looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team, working directly from our office (this is not a remote position). If you’re passionate about numbers, enjoy analyzing data, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Our Team: Work closely with our accounting team to assist in financial reporting, data analysis, and support budget and forecasting activities.
- Dive into Data: Analyze expenses, sales trends, and provide insightful analytics to help our marketing team optimize promotions.
- Support Critical Processes: Help prepare and post journal entries, analyze account reconciliations, and prepare detailed monthly expense reports.
- Be a Key Player in Special Projects: Work alongside senior management on special projects, process improvements, and more.
- Keep Us Organized: File, scan, and systematically organize documents, while promptly following up on communications.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong foundation in accounting processes with at least 2 years of experience (bonus if you’ve worked in the restaurant industry!).
- Someone with an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
- A clear and effective communicator who can engage with everyone from executives to entry-level employees.
- A self-starter who takes initiative, seeks continuous improvement, and isn’t afraid to take on responsibility.
Your Skills:
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Comfortable with extensive data entry and 10-key operations.
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
- Familiar with office equipment and software like Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
