The Early Childhood Educator will provide quality, caring, and supportive childcare to Jack & Jill families.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Documentation to demonstrate Teacher or Assistant Teacher qualifications for licensing requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with parents, and community members.
- Professional and responsible work attitude.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in group preschool setting

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Use a variety of teaching techniques including modelling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing.
· Encourage and assist children to practice self-help daily.
· Individualize the curriculum.
· Use observations to expand play for the children.
· Follow behavior guidance and policies established by the program.
· Ensure the child’s environment is healthy and safe.
· Attend to children’s physical needs for diapering, eating, and sleeping.
· Ensure positive communication with parents.
· Discuss the programs daily events and the child’s daily progress with parents.
· Follow licensing requirements.
· Attend scheduled staff trainings.
· Carry out the responsibilities assigned to you.
· Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the children, staff, parents, and the program.
· Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
