Package Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in service.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo during transit.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving items as required.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Pay: $17.00 - $34.00 per hour
