Position Summary
Responsible for proper completion of all receiving reports and receiving slips regarding quantity and quality of merchandise. Interfaces with Purchasing to ensure timely and efficient service capabilities including receipt, storage, release and disposition of property. Alerts Purchasing Agents to damaged, spoiled, obsolete, surplus and excess goods or unusual usage patterns. Interfaces with the Accounting Department for the preparation and disbursement of inventory adjustments. Operates motorized vehicles, i.e. Electric Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack.
Essential Functions
- Supervise all employees engaged in receiving/stocking/filling of products.
- Audit all receiving procedures and policies.
- Develop schedules to reflect staffing level needed to give optimal guest service.
- Train new employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies.
- Conduct and oversee physical inventories of food and beverage.
- Coach and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures.
- Maintain a well-informed shift by conducting daily shift meetings.
- A department walk through is done on a daily basis to assure cleanliness and all equipment is operational.
- Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends.
- Perform receiving audits, maintain receiving log, and reviews requisitions for accuracy and all appropriate signatures.
- Work with Food & Beverage to lower waste and maintain product rotation.
- Work with Food & Beverage for items to properly install bin locations and keep the inventory sheets up to date.
- Monthly inventory reports.
- Work various schedules and overtime if needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- College or equivalent experience is preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years warehousing and distribution experience is required, which should include two years supervisory experience at an advanced level
- Food and beverage experience is preferred, Stratton Warren experience helpful to process and receive items
Required Certification/License
- Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission Gaming License
