Award-winning, high-volume bar and restaurant Jack Rose Dining Saloon is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to join our dynamic team.

The General Manager works closely with the owners and operating partners to ensure the continued success of the concept while driving growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
The General Manager’s primary responsibilities include:

Leadership & Team Management

Oversight of all service managers and service staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.

Manage recruiting, hiring, and training efforts to build a high-performing, cohesive team.

Part-time floor management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Financial Management
-
Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, including budgets, revenue, and costs.

Implementing strategies to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

Utilizing financial management tools and software to track performance and plan effectively.

Operational Excellence

Ensuring compliance with all applicable local regulations and best practices, including DOES, OSHA, DC Health, and ABRA standards.

Overseeing maintenance of a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality standards and inventory.

Administrative Duties

Managing schedules, payroll, and operational reporting.
