Jackie's Place in San Jose, CA is looking for one host/hostess to join our team.
We are located on 840 N 1 St St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.
Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Experience working a hospitality role
- leadership role experience
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Strong organizational and motivational skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
- Manage the wait list: record guest names and number in party, and provide estimated waiting time
- Answering phone
- Assisting bussers with clearing and setting tables (when needed)
- Transports and carries objects (such as high-chair) up to 15 pounds
- Taking, entering and packing to go orders
Benefits

- $18.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
