ROLE PURPOSE
Assist store management in executing store operations during scheduled shifts and ensure that all employees are giving a “Great experience every time” to the customer in a fast-paced, clean and safe environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Be able to perform all job functions of each crew position, including customer service, product preparation, cash accountability, and front-line food preparation.
- Effectively leads the team during a shift to ensure that excellent restaurant operations are consistently achieved.
- Ensure the restaurant is properly organized and staffed as designated by written schedule through proper job assignments, break rotation and delegation of tasks during both peak and non-peak periods.
- Delegating duties, assigning specific tasks and ensuring team members prepare food items according to Charley’s standards of quality, consistency and timeliness.
- Help train and develop team members and positively lead by example using Charley’s 5 Steps of training.
- Contributes to a team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments.
- Follow Charley’s operational policy and procedures, including those for cash handling, and inventory controls to ensure the safety of all team members and guests during each shift.
- Be certified in all positions and to train others on the position in order to help where ever needed.
- Ensure Key Practices are followed during the shift.
- Ensure team members follow health, food safety, and safety guidelines for a clean and safe environment.
- Informs immediate supervision promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Accurately complete designated duties such as inventory control, ordering of products and cash control.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to pass the TSA federal background check to work in the airport.
- One or more years’ restaurant experience (fast food/QSR supervisory experience preferred).
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.
- Good problem solving and decision making skills.
- Able to exhibit excellent skills with the guests and team members.
- Supervise and motivate team members to perform to their highest possible level of ability.
- Takes initiative and always looking for improvement.
- Have a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
