Salary Range: $17.50 - $28.68 Hourly
Job Shift: Day (Mon-Fri Some Weekends)
Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform plumbing and related installations and repairs.
- Perform upkeep of facility and property, both inside and outside.
- Maintain HVAC system.
- Maintain plumbing, water and sewage system.
- Perform carpentry duties.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in all phases of plumbing work required.
- Basic carpentry experience preferred.
- Boiler license and pool certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Must possess valid drivers license. (Applicants with an out of state license must obtain Minnesota license within 30 days of hire.)
- Experience with painting, wood finishing, cement finishing and rubber roofing helpful.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Advanced plumbing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Knowledge of all required tools and equipment.
- Able to learn basic HVAC equipment and computer.
- Mechanically inclined.
UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Mobility throughout the facility.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
