Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly
Job Shift: Varies ( Weekends)
Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide physical escort of moneys being transported across the casino floor.
- Observe all customers and employees entering the casino and check IDs for age verification.
- Report to shift leader all suspicious activities within sight and hearing.
- Assist and attend to ill and injured customers and employees.
- Provide customers with Casino information (i.e. cashiers, restrooms, restaurants, gaming areas, etc.) when asked.
- Provide chips to various gaming tables on a regular basis.
- Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Wear the required uniform while on duty, and present a neat, professional image.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- EMT, First Responder, CPR and/or First Aid certifications are helpful.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certified, or willingness to become certified.
- Knowledge of various forms of identification.
- Knowledge of the Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel floorplan.
- Able to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical fitness level which allows for continuous mobility throughout the facility.
- Able to pass pre-employment and semi-annual physical agility tests.
- Vision correctable to a minimum of 20/40.
- Good hearing ability.
