Position Overview:
The Production Associate will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that every product meets the high standards our customers expect. Jacks Inc. is looking for someone who is energetic with a positive attitude, maintains great attendance, and is a team player capable of collaborating with colleagues throughout the company. You will help to assemble, inspect, and package our quality products, all while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This position offers steady, consistent hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and Produce: Assemble high-quality equine products in accordance with company standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections throughout the production process to ensure consistency.
- Production Documentation: Accurately record production data and maintain up-to-date logs in our inventory system.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate production machinery and tools (training provided if necessary) to support efficient manufacturing.
- Maintain Production Area: Keep the production area organized, clean, and compliant with safety protocols to ensure smooth operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and quality standards, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production record-keeping.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
