Gastroenterologist Locums Job in New Mexico Clinic Call Starting March 2025 Ongoing
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in central New Mexico that is seeking Gastroenterologist coverage. Coverage needs vary between outpatient and inpatient so if you have a preference for the type of coverage you'd like to provide, please specify.
Facility 1 :
Will work inpatient all day / every day, which includes approximately a little more than 1 / 2 day performing procedures and the remaining part of the day doing rounds. ERCP required. 8a - 5p Monday - Friday night / weekend call.
Facility 2 :
Will cover an 8-hour clinic day Monday through Friday from 8A-5P night and weekend call coverage is 1 : 5. 3 GI lab days with 18-20 procedures / day and clinic days with 18-20 visits per day
Job Requirements for Assignment :
Active New Mexico license or IMLC
Board Certification is required (or truly Board Eligible - with confirmation that you will be sitting for boards within 12-18 months of assignment)
Seeking full-time clinic call coverage - willing to work with multiple providers and only physicians that can cover full weeks at a time
Can expect full clinic support APP, RN & MA APP inpatient support while on call
EMR is Epic
ERCP trained is required
