OB/GYN Physician Opportunity
Job Description
We are seeking an OB/GYN physician to assist with call coverage shifts in North Carolina.
Details of Assignment
- Active North Carolina license required
- 24-hour call coverage shifts available, 4-10 shifts per month
The practice consists of four physicians and three midwives. The ideal candidate will have completed their residency at least three years prior.
The facility has a Level 2 NICU and 100 beds. Responsibilities include:
- Nursery rounds
- Inpatient calls and rounds
- ER calls
- New admission and discharge circumcisions
Backup call and surgical assistance is provided by anesthesia and ER providers, nurses, and regular pediatricians.
The hospital experiences 75-80 births per month and 800 annual births. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.
