OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in North Carolina
The successful candidate will provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, deliveries, and surgeries
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various health conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with a similar patient population
Work Schedule:
- 7am-7am call schedule for weekdays and weekends
- Not required to be on-site all day, but must round daily and be available for all deliveries and emergency OBGYN-related surgeries
Practice Details:
- 30-40 deliveries per month
- 14 surgical cases per month, including C-sections, circumcisions, and laparotomies
- Three labor rooms, 16 patient rooms, and 6 newborn beds
- Level 1 Nursery and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring instructors
