Hematology-Oncology Physician Part-time Locums Job in Kentucky IMLC Accepted
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a Kentucky health system needing Hematology / Oncology locums starting in December. The need calls for a 7-day week, Monday through Sunday.
Details / Requirements :
Inpatient and Outpatient - 75% Hem 25% Onc
Dates Needed : 12 / 23-12 / 30, 1 / 20-1 / 27, 2 / 17-2 / 24, 3 / 17-3 / 24, 4 / 14-4 / 21, 5 / 19-5 / 26, 6 / 16-6 / 23
The nurses will be administering chemo. The providers oversea the infusion center.
Primarily need assistance with new hematology consults and follow up of established Hem and Onc patients. Locums will see patients that are stable on treatment when their primary oncologist is not available.
Need coverage Monday-Friday plus call at night and on the weekend.
Monday-Friday clinic 8am-4 : 30pm. Roughly 15-18 patients per day.
Weeknight call 4 : 30pm- 8am the next day.
Weekend call Friday night through 8am Monday morning.
Board Certified Medical Oncology or Hematology with complete fellowship in both.
Active Kentucky or active IMLC.
BLS, ACLS, DEA.
