General Surgery Locums Job in Iowa Scopes Required Seeking Coverage for 1 Week per Quarter Starting March 2025
Coverage need :
Seeking 1 week, Monday (7am) - Monday (7am), of coverage starting in March 2025 for 1 week per quarter on an ongoing basis
Will be scheduled for 8-hour scope days during the week & be on night / weekend call coverage
Night call starts at 5PM - 8AM, weekend call is Friday at 5PM - Monday at 8AM
Outpatient Scoping Needs :
Will be scheduled to do outpatient scopes for 3-5 days / week
Will do an average of 12-16 scopes per full day / 6-10 scopes per half day
Average of 8 hours of scope work per week day night & weekend call coverage
Job Requirements for Assignment :
Board Certification required for this assignment
Iowa license DEA required
MUST be able to offer a full week each month (Monday at 7AM - Monday at 7AM) unable to work with partial coverage / early ends to the week
COVID vaccination required to be considered
General Surgery coverage (bread & butter) & upper / lower scope skills (must be highly experienced with scopes to be considered)
Must be able to do conscious sedation
Facility detail : designated level III trauma center, 1.5 hours away from Des Moines, 40 bed facility, EPIC EM
